Confederation Park is Canada’s largest Centennial park project. It contains more than 400 acres and includes a nine-hole golf course and club house, fountains, gardens and playgrounds. Confederation refers to the union of the three British colonies in North America – New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Canada. This occurred on July 1, 1967, and the new country was named the Dominion of Canada.
Confederation Park was officially dedicated on August 7, 1967.
